Songwriter, singer and producer Odunsi (The Engine) has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group. He is at the forefront of the Afro-fusion explosion which mixes a wide variety of genres and sounds.

Odunsi was born Bowofoluwa Odunsi and grew up in Lagos, a city whose vibrant environment and culture has heavily influenced his music. He began making music while still at school and decided to pursue it as a full-time career back in 2016.
His Afro-fusion sound is a mix of Afrobeat, electronic music, R&B, reggae and soul. His first EP, Time Of Our Lives, was released in August 2016 and quickly attracted attention from the music industry. It featured Ghanaian Afro electronic artist Okuntakinte, as well as the Nigerian artists Dami Oniru and Black Magic.
Follow-up singles included ‘Situationship’ ft. Aylø, was a Spotify Top 5 viral track in the US, and ‘Mine’, which featured vocals from London-based R&B vocalist Malika Hamza. His track ‘In The Morning’ was released by Universal Music Nigeria on a one-single deal and saw him team up with DOZ of the 8 0 Sounds production team.
He is currently in the studio working on some exciting upcoming projects including his debut album, which will be titled Rare.
