Tristan Landymore has signed a global deal with Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group. Landymore has written hits for artists including Ellie Goulding, Kano, Moss Kenna, Liam Payne and Zedd.
Tristan Landymore says: "I'm really excited about the direction Warner/Chappell seems to be headed right now. There's a real sense of forward-thinking, and Paul's already given me an idea of his own commitment and ambition! It's a great way to have started the New Year.”
Paul Smith, Creative Director, Warner/Chappell Music UK adds: “Tristan is a highly promising young songwriter. We want to work with him to build his career both in the UK and around the world. He’s got a great future ahead of him.”
Tristan Landymore began his career in songwriting when he collaborated with writer and producer Fred Gibson on a project for Ellie Goulding. This resulted in Landymore co-writing the song ‘Around U’ for Goulding’s album Delirium.
He subsequently worked with Kano, co-writing the track ‘This Is England’ for the rapper’s UK Top 10 album Made In The Manor. Other recent co-writes include Moss Kenna’s debut single ‘48’.
Landymore’s biggest hit to date is the international smash ‘Get Low’, which he co-wrote for Zedd and Liam Payne. The song was a huge radio hit in the UK and US, racking up more than 100 million streams to date.
