Warner/Chappell Music (WCM), the music publishing company of Warner Music Group, has signed a worldwide deal with London-based singer, songwriter and record producer Josh Record. Record has written for artists including Anne-Marie, Dan Owen, Ella Henderson, Jones, Jorja Smith, LP, Matrix & Futurebound, Mr Probz and Wilkinson. He has worked with fellow songwriters and producers including Adam Argyle, Andrew “BullySongs” Bullimore, Fred Ball, Joseph “Courage” Carson, Katy B, Laura Dockrill, Mike Del Rio, MNEK and SG Lewis.

Record began his own recording career with the EP For Your Love in 2012, which was released on independent label National Anthem and went to Number 2 on the iTunes UK singer-songwriter chart. His follow-up EP, War, was released the next year and received widespread critical acclaim, being dubbed the ‘Hottest Record of 2013’ by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1.
He went on to sign a deal with Virgin Records and released his third EP, Bones, in November 2013, then re-released For Your Love in March 2014. His debut album Pillars followed in July 2014.
